SMS Terms and Conditions

1. Program Description
Like Whoa, Inc. (Like Whoa, we, us) offers SMS text messaging services to provide customers with service notifications, project updates, billing reminders, and support responses. By opting in to our SMS program, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Opting In
You can opt in to receive SMS messages by:
- Checking the SMS consent box during online signup or account management
- Texting START or SUBSCRIBE to our business number
- Verbally consenting during a phone call with our team
- Signing a paper consent form
By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number provided and that you are at least 18 years of age.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your project and service activity. You may receive approximately 0-10 messages per month depending on service events, billing cycles, and support interactions. Message and data rates may apply.
4. Message Content
Messages may include:
- Service and installation appointment reminders and updates
- Technician arrival notifications
- Project status updates
- Billing and payment confirmations
- Payment due reminders
- Support response messages
- Service outage notifications
- Marketing messages (only if you have explicitly opted in to marketing)
5. Opting Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:
- Texting STOP to any message from us
- Texting QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE
- Contacting us through our contact form
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message confirming your unsubscribe. You will not receive further SMS messages unless you opt in again. Opting out of SMS does not affect your service or other communication channels (email, phone calls).

7. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Like Whoa does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on carrier availability and network conditions.
8. Supported Carriers
We support SMS delivery to all major U.S. and Canadian carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and their affiliates and MVNOs. Support for international carriers varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy and Data Use
We use Twilio, Inc. as our SMS service provider. When you receive or send text messages with us, Twilio processes your phone number and message content on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for complete information about how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS conversation data with third parties for marketing purposes.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these SMS terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the Last updated date and posting the new terms on this page. Your continued use of our SMS services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
