Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This Payment and Refund Policy explains how Like Whoa, Inc. ("Like Whoa," "we," "us") bills for services, how refunds and cancellations work, and what to do if you have a question about a charge. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to this policy.

1. Services and Billing

Like Whoa provides recurring internet connectivity services ("Service") billed on a monthly basis. Service fees are billed in advance of each monthly service period. Your billing date is the date your Service is activated, and recurs monthly on that date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

One-time charges — such as installation, equipment, or construction fees — are billed separately at the time they are incurred or as quoted in your service agreement.

2. Payment Methods

We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to automatically charge your card on file for recurring monthly Service fees and any applicable one-time charges. We do not store your full card number on our systems.

You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. You can update your payment method at any time by contacting us using the information on our Contact page.

3. Installation and Equipment Fees

  • Before work is performed: Installation fees are fully refundable if you cancel before any installation work, site survey, or construction has begun and before any equipment has been delivered to your location.
  • After work is performed: Once installation work has begun, equipment has been delivered, or Service has been activated, installation and equipment fees are non-refundable, as labor and materials have been committed.
  • Company-owned equipment: Equipment supplied by Like Whoa remains our property and must be returned upon cancellation (see Section 5).

4. Refund Policy

Monthly Service fees are non-refundable once the monthly service period has begun. We do not provide refunds or prorated credits for partial months of Service, including when Service is cancelled mid-cycle (see Section 5 for how cancellation works).

Exceptions — we will issue a refund or credit in the following cases:

  • Billing errors: Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or charges made in error are refunded in full to the original payment method once verified.
  • Extended service outages: If your Service experiences a verified extended outage caused by our network, you may request a service credit for the affected period. Credits are applied to future invoices and are evaluated case by case.
  • Failure to activate: If we are unable to deliver or activate your Service after you have paid, you are entitled to a full refund of Service fees paid for the undelivered period.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

5. Cancellation Policy

Customers under a written service agreement: if your business has signed a formal term contract with us, the cancellation, renewal, and early-termination terms of that agreement govern and take precedence over this section. Please refer to your contract or contact us for a copy of its terms.

Month-to-month customers: if you are not under a term contract, you may cancel your Service at any time — there are no early-termination fees. To cancel, contact us using the information on our Contact page.

  • For month-to-month customers, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current monthly billing period. Service remains active until that date, and no further charges will be made after it.
  • Because Service is billed in advance and monthly fees are non-refundable, cancelling mid-cycle does not produce a refund for the remaining days of the period.
  • Company-owned equipment must be returned within 14 days of your cancellation date. Unreturned or damaged equipment may result in an equipment charge at the replacement cost listed in your service agreement.

6. Failed or Late Payments

If a recurring charge fails, we will automatically retry the payment method on file and notify you so you can update your payment information. If payment remains outstanding more than ten (10) days after the due date, we may suspend Service until the balance is paid. Accounts with balances outstanding more than thirty (30) days may be closed, and company-owned equipment must be returned as described in Section 5.

7. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first using the information on our Contact page so we can investigate and resolve it quickly — most issues are fixed within one business day. Please raise billing disputes within sixty (60) days of the charge in question.

Initiating a chargeback with your card issuer for a valid charge may result in suspension of Service until the dispute is resolved. We are always happy to work with you directly before it reaches that point.

8. Taxes and Fees

Quoted prices do not include applicable taxes, regulatory fees, or government surcharges unless stated otherwise. Such charges, where applicable, will appear as separate line items on your invoice.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its revision date. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Contact Us
